Sunday Reset
A year in review can be a lot to digest. Quarterly reviews (that’s what I do instead) are even better, but my favorite new practice to stay on track with my goals is a Sunday reset.
What menial tasks or bigger disciplines need to be done/assessed on a weekly basis? For the basic being in me, I’ve picked #sundayreset to be the day since it’s catchy. Anything from setting new creative goals (or reassessing current fitness goals) to changing out a sponge, to reading 5 more pages in a book I haven’t finished, I do on Sunday. I’m doing a Bible in a year reading plan, so I write out my week’s reading schedule on Sunday.
Maybe you’ve innately done this your whole life. Sort of me too (homework, laundry, meal prep, etc). But now, be more intentional about the personal stuff too, and see what good it’ll do for you! Feel free to share some new practices that you’ve gotten into that have helped you stay on task.
