In Love and Veritas is a lifestyle project founded by Chioma Obih. It has been cultivated for any individual seeking a space that provides spiritual and creative inspiration, awakening, and insight—and everything in between. The mission is simple: to share in love and live in truth (veritas).

About THE AUTHOR

I am a first-generation Nigerian-American, (greater) New Orleans native. A clinical pharmacist by trade and a Christian by creed and comportment, I live my days vicariously through the simple vision of life and love without limits. My work in writing and other creative endeavors feature unapologetic overtones of the cultural, spiritual, educational, and social experiences that have influenced the my worldviews.

In my free time (and sometimes my dedicated time), you may find me in my kitchen, exploring every science and story behind the recipes in my ever-growing library of cookbooks. I’m also a huge Formula 1 fan, so maybe you’ll find me at a circuit for a race weekend!

My spiritual formation comes from many influences: growing up a devoted Catholic (including Confirmation), transitioning to a multi-ethnic evangelical church in high school, and immersing in a community of African Christians for most of my life. I currently lead a women’s small group for my church (akin to a Bible study of sorts), which has been my service for 10 years and counting.
